Chris hails from Southern Ontario, from a town called Paris. Joining the Perdomo team in 2006, Chris was first hired as the South East Regional Representative and then promoted to Director of Sales. As Chris likes to say, he “smoked his way into the cigar industry.” One of two people at the Canadian tobacco company where he worked that smoked cigars, he was promoted by default to Cigar Sales Manager when the company decided to distribute cigars. He came to work in the U.S. in April of 2002 and has remained, as he says, “loving every minute of it.” Originally a passionate cigar smoker, Chris now also boasts an extensive knowledge on the cigar making process.
“Working for a family company like Perdomo gives me a true sense of pride and passion about the cigars we represent. It makes them a pleasure to sell. I heard Nick Perdomo say to customers, ‘I am YOUR fan.’ I think that hits it on the head, because without them we’d be nowhere.”

“It has the flavor profile and strength that I can enjoy at any time. It gives me the chance to really taste our filler and binder tobaccos and get a sense of what our blenders were trying to achieve.”
“I’ve been given a crazy nickname in the industry by my good friends in Alabama. They now refer to me as Obi-Wan Perdomo. I guess y’all will have to visit Alabama to find out why!”
